Day 1:  Arrival in Siliguri

You are welcomed at Siliguri airport and transferred to the hotel.

Day 2 :  Siliguri - Phuentsholing (170 Kms) 

After breakfast drive to Phuentsholing. Drive along National Road 31 from Siliguri to Sevoke (21 Km.), afterSalugara we will see a small bazaar dominated by Bhutia and Gorkha on the outskirts of Siliguri. This road is in good condition. After thecanton, we will cross thick forests to reach Bhutan and finally Phuentsholing. The border town from the sideIndia is called Jaigaon, while the border town on the Bhutan side is called Phuentsholing. Phuentsholing is the pointentrance for travellers. The city functions primarily as a place where Bhutanese and Indians makebusiness. The architecture is modern, and there is no dzong [famous monastery] of particular interest to tourists.However, like all of Bhutan, it offers a clean, pleasant and safe environment.After the evening meeting for the orientation of the group, introduction of all the members of the group, the ride, the conditionsroads and weather.Dinner and overnight at the hotel. 

 

Day 3 :  Phuentsholing - Paro (180 Kms)

After breakfast, immigration formalities and departure for Paro. On the way to Paro, visit the magnificent University ofGedu and Rinchending Monastery, before arriving in Paro.Dinner and overnight at the hotel.    

 

Day 4 :  Paro - Tiger's Nest - Paro (50 Kms) 

This morning after breakfast. Hike to Paro Taktshang (Tiger's Nest) located about eight kilometers north of thetown of Paro to visit Bhutan's most famous monastery, Taktshang [or the Tiger's Lair] perched on a cliff at 900meters above the valley floor. Legend has it that Guru Rinpoche, who brought Buddhism to Bhutan in8th century, flew into a cave at Taktshang, on a tigress and spent three months there. On a clear day, you will enjoy aSplendid view of Bhutan's sacred mountain, Mt Jomolhari. On the way, visit Kichu Lhakhang, which is one of the oldesttemples of Bhutan, built in the 7th century. After this trip to Drukgyel Dzong, 14 kilometers from the city of Paro, alsoknown as the Drukgyel Dzong Victory Fortress, built by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal in 1649 forcommemorate the victory over the Tibetan invaders in 1644.Dinner and overnight at the hotel. 

 

Day 5 :  Paro - Haa - Thimphu (180 Kms)

After breakfast, depart for Thimphu, capital of Bhutan via Chele La Pass and Haa Village. Thimpu the capital ofBhutan. Crossing the fertile plains of Paro and superb views of the rich farms of rice terraces. travel alongfrom the Paro River and then from the Thimphu River. Arrival in Thimphu and installation at the hotel. Formalities for obtaining visas androad permits. Later, free evening which will allow you to explore the city with its many cafes, bars and boutiques.memories.Dinner and Overnight in Thimphu. 

 

Day 6 :  Visit of Thimphu (50 Kms)

Guided city tour of Thimphu located at 2300m above sea level with mesmerizing views. Visit of the National Library which haswas established in 1967 and contains many ancient Dzongkha and Tibetan texts, School of Painting, National Institute for ZorigChusum (the 13 traditional arts and crafts such as painting, woodcarving, embroidery and statue making),National Chorten Memorial built in 1974 in memory of the third King of Bhutan (Tashichhodzong)- seat of theGovernment of Bhutan - the Throne Room, Her Majesty's Secretariat, Ministry of Home and Cultural Affairs andthe Ministry of Finance). Afternoon at the Zoo: The Motithang Takin Preserve in Thimphu is a nature reserve forBhutan domestic animals. Originally a mini-zoo, it was turned into a reserve when the animals left thesurrounding forest. If tourism falls on weekends, you can visit Thimphu vegetable market where farmersneighboring regions come together to sell their products. Return to the hotel for dinner,Overnight in Thimphu. 

 

Day 7 : Thimphu - Punakha (90 Kms)

After breakfast, departure for Punakha, The first stage of this journey takes us to Punakha at an altitude of 1300 mand we stop at Dochu La Pass at an altitude of 3050m. If the weather is clear, we can enjoy a breathtaking viewbreath taking views of the snow capped Himalayan mountain ranges and also a magnificent view of the Gasa Dzong. The tripcontinues to Punkha. In the afternoon, visit Punakha Dzong, at the confluence of the Mo Chu (women's river) and the Pho Chu(river of men). Today the dzong serves as the administrative center for Punakha Dzongkhag (district) and the monastic bodycentral.Dinner and overnight at the hotel. 

 

Day 8 :  Punakha - Gangtey (75Kms)

Early in the morning, after breakfast, we leave for central Bhutan through the tropical vegetation at Nobding.Today we cross the steep mountains with loops and hairpin curves. Throughout thejourney, we will enjoy the beautiful landscapes of rural Bhutan, with settlements scattered far from the road. we will rideabout an hour towards the Col de Pelela (2900 m) We will retrace our steps and take a road that leads toGangtey Gompa by the pass of Tashi La. Descent of about one hour for the valley of Phobjikha through the meadows, theyak valley and several villages. It is an open valley, where GangteyGompa is ideally located on a hilloverlooking the valley via ChendejiChorten built in the Nepalese style in the 15th century.Dinner and overnight at the hotel. 

 

Day 9 :  Gangtey - Bumthang (160Kms)

After breakfast, drive to Bumthang which presents an individuality that charms its visitors and distinguishes it from others.regions. The route is initially flat but the descent is marked by muddy roads where the reconstruction /enlargement is in progress. The landscape then opens onto the magnificent valley of Chumey, comprising four small valleys,namely Tang, Ura, Choekhor and Chumey. The deeply spiritual region of Bumthang is shrouded in religious legends.Bumthang is also the traditional home of the great Buddhist master Pema Linga whose descendants are from thecurrent dynasty. If you arrive early, visit the JakarDzong, located on a ridge above the town of Jakar in the valleyChamkhar of Bumthang.It is built on the site of an earlier temple established by Hierarch Ralung YongzinNgaguchouk (1517-1554) when he came to Bhutan. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.  

 

Day 10 :  Bumthang - Mongar (200kms)

The journey from Bumthang to Mongar is one of the most beautiful in the Himalayas crossing passes 3780 meters high. Of thegushing waterfalls, sheer cliffs with even steeper drops, flamboyant flowers and aever-changing vegetation combine to make this trip as varied as it is beautiful. Mongar marks the beginning ofEastern Bhutan.The second largest city in the subtropical east, Mongar, like Trashigang further east, is located on the side of a hilland contrasts with other cities in western Bhutan. It was built on the bottom of the valley.Dinner and overnight at the hotel. 

 

Day 11 :  Mongar - Trashigang (100kms)

After breakfast in Trashigang, many visitsDinner and overnight in Trashigang.    

 

Day 12 : Trashigang - Samdrup Jongkhar (180 Kms)

After breakfast, today's ride marks the last day in Bhutan. and before saying goodbye to this for Samdrup Jongkhar. Arrival and installation at the hotel. beautiful country, departureDinner and overnight at the hotel.    

 

Day 13 :  Samdrup Jongkhar - Guwahati (120kms)

After breakfast, a refreshing ride through dense forest, mountain passes and a gifted god for the beauty of nature,destination Guwahati. In the evening we bid farewell to all the team members.Dinner and overnight at the hotel.  

 

Day 14 :  Guwahati - Delhi

Very early in the morning, transfer to the airport to take your return flight.
